Casey Ramos With The Hard Earned UD Win

Burbank CA – Casey Ramos from Austin Texas got the hard earned UD win over Miguel Beltran in the main event of Top Rank/ Bash Boxing “Valley Fight Night” Solo Boxeo show last night. Casey Ramos was the busier fighter and was able to edge out the win despite his right eye being cut and beginning to swell in the 5th round. Miguel Beltran from Los Mochis, Sinaloa Mexico was a tough test for Ramos who was coming off his lone defeat at the hands of Andy Vences in November of last year. Beltran kept coming forward but Ramos work and left hook was enough to separate him against the former world title challenger.

This was a tough come back fight for the “Wizard” Ramos who earned and deserved the win, Ramos improves to 24-1 6KOs. Casey showed composure despite the cut and made the proper adjustments to ensure he got the win. After the fight Casey was asked about the tough come back fight against Beltran to which he replied with “to get back into title contention I have to take the tough fights” and after last night effort surely Top Rank will get him another fight soon. Ramos did not back down when the going got tough and after his eye heals up should be back to headline another show or against a Top Rank prospect.

In the co main event Erick DeLeon out of Detroit by way of Sabina, Nuevo Leon Mexico got the TKO win over Daulis Prescott when he sustained an arm injury and could not continue. With the TKO win Deleon remains undefeated improves to 16-0 10 KOs and continues to make strides under coach Robert Garcia. Watch for Erick DeLeon to continue to be showcased on Solo Boxeo shows and molded into a future star of the Top Rank stable. Arnold Barboza Jr from Los Angeles also got the KO win to remain undefeated when he stopped Markus Morris in the 5th round. Barboza is another prospect to keep an eye out on improved to 16-0 with his 6th knock out.
